Dear Neighbors,
The Fort Greene Compost Project has been collecting food scraps here every Saturday since October 2005. We are an all-volunteer group of gardeners, Greenmarket shoppers, and neighbors who believe that less waste and more soil is a good thing. Composting has been catching on -- thanks to you! But we're going to need your help to keep this program going in the future.
Please show some love for composting in Fort Greene by taking our survey, joining the mailing list, and helping out where you can. Specific things we need currently include a pick-up truck (2X a month), volunteers to help haul the load, website design, and organizing help.
